23 Blue-Collar Engineered Rides That are One-of-a-Kind
If you need a job done on your wheels, why take a car to a dealership when you can call up your friend's friend Jimmy, who knows a guy who can come and fix that thing right up for a fraction of the cost? I'm talking about good old-fashioned blue-collar engineering, where no idea is too outrageous, and no undertaking too ambitious.
For example, one person here has completely swapped out their old pickup track's wheels for an industrial-sized set of treads. Those things are so big that they must have come from a heavy-duty construction yard, and yet one man has managed to get them onto the same frame his dad used to take him to school back in '89. But seriously, where is he actually going to drive that thing, and what does he plan to use it for?
Questions aren't meant to be asked, however, because if a vehicle makes you look at it and think "oooh yeah," then the modifications have done their job and are more than justified. Check out that beast of a machine and much more in this gallery of impressive blue-collar engineering.
